Happy Birthday

Hello readers! am back, fresh from vacation---my first blog today is my birthday greetings to my dear eldest son. Gosh, i really miss my 2 children. I called them on their Aunt's cellphone and was relieved to hear their voice. My sister told me that my eldest had fever last night but thanks God he is okey now. He is ashamed to tell his Aunt that he is sick my nephew gave him paracetamol and this morning when i call them they said he is okey. Even though my eldest is already 20 years old now I am still alarmed when something happens to him and I feel sad that I am not there to see how he is. Anyway, thats how a mother is. Never-ends supporting their children even if they are already old. For me, my 2 boys are still a kid to me although they were grown up. For my eldest here is our greetings:

HAPPY BIRTHDAY AUNT GERTY

This morning when I wake up hubby told me that there is a person closer to my heart who will celebrate her birthday. She is already 91 and God Bless her for reaching this age. She’s been in the hospital before her birthday and I was told that she collapse the reason why the aide called 911 to rush her to the hospital. We are suspecting that the dosage of the medicines made her drowsy as she is taking 12 kinds of medicines. With her age I don’t think that this is right as we know that her strength is not enough and her resistance is low. Anyways, going back to her when we called her (Aunt Gerty as we fondly call her) to greet her Happy birthday! Her aura is different, she is happy and full of energy even if we did not see her personally you can tell from her voice that she is good. Though we know that there are bad times and good times we still hope for the best for her. She is the only kin member of my hubby’s family that is alive. She’s been good to me since I meet her, knowing her in person, too bad I could not have the chance to take care of her. I had my job and my time is conflict with the time available from her aids days off. We are hoping that in the days to come she will stay as she is. Good health and full of energy.

January Birthday Bash.....

January is the month when mother gave birth to me. This is not only a blessing month but this is also the start of a brand New Year for everyone. A time to renew promises, commitments to oneself and the so called New Year’s resolution. Me, I don’t believe that only on this month that everyone should change. Any month you could change to what you think the road that you lead is wrong. If you feel there is a need for you to divert the things that you believe is not good then do it while there is there a chance and time. Don’t wait for the next year to do it. Planning, yes this is the good start of your plans for the whole year that you would include in your portfolio of activities for the whole year round. Since this is the brand new month for the whole year to start with let me greet people that is part of my life who is, or will be celebrating their birthday. Me first, my birthday that falls on Jan.5

obcourse I got some greetings at my Friendster page and one greetings in a form of a poem from my youngest son touches me . He loves to write poems and here is one:

I always make her angry
Mad and sometimes noisy
Cause I’m often times clumsy
But then she’d forgive me

She always lectures
In many structures
It’s sometimes torture
But it’s for my future

I do my best to thank her
In many ways but it’s hard to please her
But yet she’d always be there
Waiting in silence for me to put things into order

That’s why in my small way
Through a poem I wrote yesterday
I express my emotions and say….

Jan. 15- my youngest son Kirby my wish is for him to have such wisdom, good health and long life so he could continue fulfilling his dreams. He is still young and i know there are lots of things that awaits him.


Jan. 18- my first cousin Maricel don't have picture of her. But i wish her many returns of the day.

Jan. 19- my first cousin on the father side and God Child thru confirmation Ivy. My wish for her is that God will give her a man who love and care for her. She is still single and scared to trust a man....sorry cuz to reveal you secret he he he


Jan. 25- My dear cousin Kuya Mark who is always there when i need him...

Also i am congratulating my brother Larry for a new born(Dec. 29)baby boy and Maritess of San Diego, CA also for a new baby(Jan.6)a new addition to our family and next year added to my list of January birthday celebrant.

November birthdays are here…… speaking of this special day, November 2 and today November 9 are birthdays of three people nearest to my heart. One is the cousin of my husband Chuck(b-day Nov 2), my cousin Imee and the other one is a good friend of mine Jackie (b-day today).Chuck is the first cousin of my hubby on the father side. They are very close that he get hubby as God father of his son. Both had happy childhood memories and until now they still keep in touch. When i came to US and was introduced to them i find him and his family,his sisters and their hubbys to be very accomodating and understanding. I could say understanding because they know that i am still adjusting to cultures and everything and they are very supportive. The reason why i feel at home. I was touched when their welcome hugs assures me that i would be fine and that this is my home with them and my husband. And i thank this man so much. Imee is my second cousin on the mother side. We go to the same school when we are in the high school became classmates. She was my confidante when I had problems. We both have happy memories together going to parties, travelling the nearby provinces, dancing etc. and I was the God mother of her first child. I met Jackie when I applied a job at rrj company. Because her parents came from my province and she knows my dialect we become eventually close friends. She is somewhat a lesbian but I was the tool for her to become a renewed person embracing the belief that she is not a man but a woman when I brought her to a Catholic fellowship EL SHADDAI. From then on she become a regular attendee. She called me her humble soul saver. I think no not yet unless I could bring some he he he. But anyway I am happy if I could bring many sinners to Our Father’s arms. HHmmmnn I don’t want to preach and be emotional here. Once again to Imee and Jackie , how old are you? What???? Louder please.... Sorry folks, don’t want their age to be revealed here ahe he he he,Okey, will not blog it here, whisper it in my ears ha!My wish for both of you: May God shower you with everything that you wish for in life.
