My Back lot tour part II experience

As I was looking at the pictures at the documents of our computer I found this pictures that I took during my travel to Disney World at our first anniversary vacation. This is one of the attraction that Hollywood Studio is offering to its tourists, they call it called Backlot Tour. In here you will see all the tricks of making a movie. This is the first tour experience that I want to see if ever I could go back to Florida. Amazing and I love to watch it again and again What I love in this attraction is there’s no need for you to walk all need is sit, relax and take souvenir pictures and you will enjoy the tour. In this part, the driver stops so tourists experience while the tram is bouncing up and down in a simulated earthquake, then fire is all over the place and comes next is too much rain that makes the area flooded

Here, as a result of heavy rain the water is flowing that you think it would be heading to your direction and them you would want to scream because you car is shaking as if you experience another earthquake. Oh don’t get scared it’s just a trick. The water that you see will flow underneath before it hits you. If you sit on the left side you will surely get wet because of the splashes of the water.
In this part you will see a tank of gas that was caught on fire. It will explode, you will feel the heat but don’t get nervous, it's safe...LOL. I could see some of the tourists were scared but others they just stare blankly and I heard some chuckling, saying awesome and unbelievable. You will be thinking what if this happens? Sorry my dear there is no way that you can get out of it – lol. You are inside and trapped. All you need is pray that everything would be alright and you came out safe…..

Anyway this are only tricks that the whole tour wants us to experience- how it is shoot or made... In the movies that we watch it appears that the scene is really true but it’s fake. In order to catch the watchers attention the producer would think of a situation and do some tricks that would made the public believe that it is good to be true. In this tour you may think that it’s boring but when you sit, your tour starts and the fun begin. I would suggest that you try it and you will enjoy….. There are lots of pictures that I took on that trip to Orlando that I did not post yet on my blog because I don’t have much time on the computer.

Super Busy

Once again, I have had a super busy weeks. So pardon my absence on this blog for two weeks :(

First, I was busy with my part time job from Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and on Wednesdays, my day-off friends invite me to go out. Seems they are already aware that every Wednesday is my day-off so they are already waiting for it every week. My Sunday is laundry, cleaning time; go to church and grocery day. Ugh, I thought I already escape from not attending the bridal shower of one of my hubby’s cousin’s daughter last Saturday and because of being busy I just sent my gift so she will not be disappointed.
Second week, the weekday routine is still the same and this Saturday we went to Secaucus. For those who are not aware where this place is, let me give you a brief description; it is located in Meadowland, New Jersey. Secaucus is the first true suburban community outside Manhattan, just five miles from Times Square. Residents, as well as visitors staying at the community's many fine hotels and motels can be in Manhattan in as little as 20 minutes via express bus. Or they quickly can be on their way to other points in via the New Jersey Turnpike or State Route 3, both of which pass through the town.
And just across the Hackensack River, a mile away, is the area's sports and entertainment center, The Meadowlands, are home of the Giants, the Jets, the Nets, the Devils, the Red Bulls, and the Seton Hall Pirates; concerts, circuses, ice shows, weekly flea market; and the Meadowlands Race Track.
Location! What makes Secaucus great for residents and visitors also makes it great for business. Secaucus is the corporate home of many major businesses and a distribution center serving Manhattan and Northern New Jersey. Its proximity to New York offers quick delivery.
Anyway we go there to attend the yearly celebration of Philippine Fiesta in America. Since this is my first time I was amazed to see the sorroundings, and meeting some Filipino who now lives in America. It’s really a great 1 day visit although the event is held for two days. The fiesta is held at Meadowlands Expo Center, Secaucus New Jersey. The event caters Trade Exhibitors from Philippines and US. There is business networking, Cultural &Food Festival and highlighted by International and local entertainers. My visit is a whole day of fun. I will post some pictures on my next post. For now I will go back to my studies. I am newly enrolled at an online/distant study on Medical coding. I have to concentrate first so I could send my first exam….. Good night everyone….

Singing Nurse

When I am not busy I always visit you tube before I visit my blogs. I want to get updated on what's happening to the video world. One video that catch my attention is this Pinoy nurse named Dominic Limpin. He is assigned in the dialysis department in one of the hospital here in New York. We all know that it's not easy for a person who is ill to pretend that you are happy.Or sometimes you could not even let them smile, how could you ever smile if you are suffering for too much pain. I know everyone of us could relate or might as well pity those who are sick. For we know the pain that they are suffering and yet this Pinoy nurse manage to help them ease the pain by singing to them or letting the patient join him in singing. I think his intention is to alliviate their suffering even only for a short while. At least for this short time they might as well forget the pain that they go thru. I really admire this man's compassion. I just hope that some nurses out there would be as compassionate as he is while doing their work. I observe that there are nurses who are rude to the patients. Instead of helping them ease the pain they are adding problem to the patient. We understand that you are pressured but it doesn't necessarily mean that you will take it against your patients. Just my opinion and some piece of advise, be compassionate, kind and to them for you just don't only know how they really feel. Sometimes the pain is killing them and too much to bear.Let's say its a vice-versa. What if you are on their situation and same thing would be done to you.How would you react. Anyway, I am happy for you Mr. Limpin. Keep it up! Yan ang Pinoy! Thumbs up!

Attraction at EPCOT

At my back is the big ball, one of the tourist attraction of EPCOT park inside Disney World. These people are heading to the spaceship earth center right inside this ball.
We are following this people infront of us so we could see what lies ahead. When we are already on our seats the lights went off and we start travelling . In this spaceship earth you will witness a world of amazing new enhancements, this classic attraction takes you from living in the past to picturing yourself in the future...literally. Bear witness to prehistoric man's first words, behold the hieroglyphics of the ancient Egyptians, follow the advanced system of roads amidst Rome, and journey through the Industrial Revolution and the Age of Information.Trust me this is educational and you will learn a lot.
And the excitement doesn't stop when your time machine does, because that's when you get to experience the so called project tomorrow–a brand-new interactive playground area where you can build, play, create, compete and explore.
Time machines—are equipped with interactive touch screens that ask you how you would like to live, work and play in the world of tomorrow. Utilizing image capture and face recognition technology, you can then enjoy a glimpse of your potential future self at the end of the attraction. There are lots of question that would flash on the screen that you will answer. I hit the category of health and this picture came out. If you will take care of your health there's a chance that you will live longer. But it depends on how you will deal with it.
After watching those attractions, I am sure you will spend time at Project Tomorrow which is located at the lobby just before you exit. Inventing the Wonders of the Future, is an interactive play area for guests of all ages filled with challenging games and informative displays that showcase the latest technologies in medicine, transportation and energy management.

Spectro Magic Parade Part II- Magic Kingdom

This is the second part of my blog regarding the spectacular parade that we watch when we visit Walt Disney, Orlando. I was very busy taking pictures and was so excited with the outcome because it was night and I really don't have the idea that this would come out good. The truth is, I could see it in the monitor and since the movement of the parade is fast did not have the chance to edit it until we reached the hotel. When I download it at my computer it came out good and clear. I promised when I post the Part 1 that I still have some photos to post but I could not find so much time to come to the computer to write and post my blog. Although, I am trying whenever I could find time. Again, I will say enjoy reading and looking at the pictures I post here. To everyone, thank you for visiting my page and hope to see you here even if I don't know you. I appreciate it very much if you could leave a message on my tagboard. I would love to read your messages and if you want to exchange link with me I would be glad to add you, just inform me.

Sibuyan Fiesta

If you live in the Philippines one of the favorite celebration other that birthdays, baptismal, weddings, Christmas and New Year that you would always love to come and remember and cherish is the Fiesta or Feast. Every place in this country has their own Feast to celebrate. It is in honor of the Patron Saint that they have in their place. The Fiesta is held usually for 3 days as their way of thanking their Patron Saint for the blessings that were poured to their homes and also for their wishes that was granted. In the 3 days feast there are lot of activities that they usually the organizational committee would do, like parade participated by town officials, school teachers and students, contest for street dancing showcasing the culture, dancing and beauty contest. On the day of the Feast is a High Mass offered by the Hermana and Hermano's of the year. Afterwhich people are invited to go to the houses and eat with the hosts and hostess. You would see a lot of food in the big table and usually it is a buffet style. So you could go back and forth to the table and eat what you want. With this years fiesta my niece was chosen and coronated as the queen in my brother -in -laws place Romblon where they reside.

There she is, her name is Diane. She was crowned Miss Pili -I. I am a proud Aunt for her not only that I am her Aunt but also her Godmother and she is my favorite niece too. I am not fair to my other nieces, lol. She grow with me, and I take care of her whenever her mother would go for shopping, he he heI remember when she was small she would always tell me that she wants to join the contest search for Little Miss Philippines, she was then 3 years old. When ask where did she lives she said in our house-smart isn't it? This is not her first to be crowned, since she was 4 she is always included at the coronation activity whether in school or in the town fiesta's and she even compete in a beauty pageant. I can't show the picture here because i have it in my album back home.
her escort her is her big brother. She is pretty, isn't she? Lol, can't wait for you to comment. I love my own he he he....

and here is the proud parents, my sister, brother -in -law. Their family picture. She is lucky that her father witness this years celebration and attended her coronation night. Oftentimes he is out of the country as he is working in Kuwait as an artist. My sister accompany my niece most of time when she compete on beauty Pageants and her badminton sports. But she would always call her father overseas to tell him of her achievements. That's why my brother -in-law is happy and inspired working even if we all know that it is hard for him not being with his family.

This one here my niece poses with other runner-ups and their escorts that join the pageant.
OMG! I have to be fast in posting here he he he, I have lots of pictures to post and stories to share, but can't really do it. Most of my time is at work and when I came home I am too tired of opening the computer. Before I used to hop many blogsites, leave comments at their cbox or exchange links with some bloggers. I just hope that my life will go back to the days that I would be home and do the blogging.....

Jesus on the Beach - This is Awesome!

Pictures below are have seen at beach at Ocean City, Maryland. Isn't the artwork awesome? According to the one who take this photo's the man who created this always make new one, when its high tide the work is swept into the sea.
As I look at this picture of how the man work I marvel at his talent and fortitude because it is true that his works get washed away with the tide and he does them again.
This is a testimony that he loves Jesus Christ and he believed in Him, imagine he can make other artwork but he chose Jesus as one of his masterpiece. I believe that he has a message to everyone, the reason why he showed this artwork to thousands of people. He is generous enough let everyone view his work and watch as he crafts his treasures.

My friend Rose is kind enough to send this email to me. I know her purpose to sent this. She wants to share it with me and I in return post this to show this to everyone.....I hope you enjoy it. It is incredible!
