Spectro Magic Parade Part II- Magic Kingdom

This is the second part of my blog regarding the spectacular parade that we watch when we visit Walt Disney, Orlando. I was very busy taking pictures and was so excited with the outcome because it was night and I really don't have the idea that this would come out good. The truth is, I could see it in the monitor and since the movement of the parade is fast did not have the chance to edit it until we reached the hotel. When I download it at my computer it came out good and clear. I promised when I post the Part 1 that I still have some photos to post but I could not find so much time to come to the computer to write and post my blog. Although, I am trying whenever I could find time. Again, I will say enjoy reading and looking at the pictures I post here. To everyone, thank you for visiting my page and hope to see you here even if I don't know you. I appreciate it very much if you could leave a message on my tagboard. I would love to read your messages and if you want to exchange link with me I would be glad to add you, just inform me.

Trip to Orlando, Florida

I take this picture at the La Guardia Airport- while waiting for our flight schedule.
While on board on the plane I saw this man guiding our plane to the runway.
Up on the air I was tempted take picture when see over the window the spectacular view this part of New York.
What an amazing view the clouds are clear and the sky are blue, very calm- no signs of bad weather
we are lucky, thank God.

the stewardess is preparing to give us our snacks and while she is on her cart
I slip a shot on while on our seat on the plane, don't bother what the others are doing as long as I can take a souvenir. Picture lover, Lol.... Look at the picture down I took a picture of our snacks...."ibuko ba?"

Paquiao the Knock-out Filipino

I am really eager to post this blog right after the fight but i am too dissy to go online. We ordered a last minute pay per view just to watch Pacman's fight. I closed my eyes and closed my ears with the pay per view price which is almost $50.00. I know that it is kinda expensive but we Filipino's don't mind the price as long as its worth it, made us happy and we are satisfied. I was shouting punch, punch with Pacman as if he is listening to me he he he. And my hubby is just staring at me knowing I am happy telling me not to shout that much. He is afraid neighbors might knock at our door and know what's happening. But can't help it though....

I'm literally in awe. I know so with people who watch my hero's fight.
Some said they don't know what to say. This was competely amazing. Manny Pacquiao is unreal -- and he's an all-time great. Not only that he is a Filipino like me but I really believe and admire his love for his craft.Hatton gets positively stuck with one of the most brilliant punches I've ever seen by the incomparable Pacquiao.
Hatton had nothing for Pacquiao. Nothing. He is a hell of a fighter and Manny Pacquiao made him look like a guy who didn't belong in there.
I don't know what else to say. Pacquiao just made his spot among the best ever.
Hatton stills comes out aggressive standing up too straight. Manny landing with the right hook. Pac Man backing him up again and is extremely accurate, punching Hatton a bit wildly. A left hand flattened Hatton. The fight is over. He's flat in the center of the ring.Hatton looks in very bad shape on the canvas. He was attended to by officials. It was a perfect, wicked left hand from Pacquiao.
The fight comes to end at the second round.
MABUHAY KA PACMAN SALUDO KAMI SA HUSAY MO! MABUHAY KA PINOY!

Cyber friends vacation to Dominican Republic

This pictures was shared to me by my cyber friend from Canada. He and his family spent their vacation in Dominican Republic. He told me that he enjoy's his trip and allowed me to post the pictures in my blog. So, i am sharing the photos with you my readers.

hello there Lovely, here are some more pics from my trip, the first pic is a view right out front from the place we stayed,
you can see the walkway and the manicured gardens. The workers were out everymorning cleaning and working in the gardens and trees.

and the beach was beautiful, you could walk for miles on it, the sand was not hot under your barefeet, was nice and firm , and the surf would come in and the ocean water was warm.
Some more pics around the pool also, was nice for swimming in, was not deep, and had a nice slope to walk down in places , so did not have to climb a ladder in,

and there was a bar also with cement stools you could swim over and sit and have a drink and mingle with outher guests or joke with the bar tender.Enjoy!!!
Thank you brother Steve for sharing this beautiful pictures to me. And also for allowing me to post it in my blog. I meet this friend of mine thru the internet in 2004, since then we e-mailed to each other, chat and even sends cards on occasion thru snail mails. He lives in Canada. I would say that he is a good friend, he is there to cheer me thru his jokes when i am lonely. Never forget to send me mails even if I could not answer back. I already introduce him to my husband and they too saying hello to each other. We didn't met yet but we remain close friend.

Broadway Adventure

Actually me and my friends plan to go to Manhattan is to watch the broadway show Mama Mia since the said show is already sold and tickets were sold out we still fall in line at the ticket booth
to watch another show called the Marvelous Wanderettes. While we are on the line
i take a chance to take pictures of the streets and buildings in the broadway area. You can see

tall buildings with big billboards of the musical shows and opera across 46th street. My neck is aching looking at this tall buildings. Even if my i feel the pain i still continue taking photos while looking at this

people here waiting their turn to get to the ticket booth. The line was really long. And for us not to feel bored we decided to eat our burgers which we buy before we go to the line. After eating i take this picture at the steps of Duffy Square just on top of the broadway's ticket booth. Down this steps is the statue of Lt. Francis Duffy. He is a Catholic Priest of the 165th US Infantry Old 69th N.Y. Gee, it was snowing here that makes the pics blurry.I did not expect that at this Spring time it would fall. Anyway, it takes few minutes but so much cold. Anyway,At the back of this monument is the facts about Lt. Francis Duffy. Just click the pic if you want more info. Facing this monument is the famous Time Square. During New Year lots of people New Yorkers and tourist flock at this area to witness the dropping of the ball on New Years Eve. If you see it at a closer distance on top of this building is the ball and on the middle is the clock where people watch the time. At last we were able to buy the ticket that we are waiting. At exactly 3 pm was the show. This is my first time to watch live show. The price is reasonable as we are able to get 50% discount. I thought it is boring because the musical show features the song of the 50's but i am wrong we did enjoy it. It was a great experience.

Today's Blog

This is Macy's department store located at Herald Square 151 West 34th Street. To go
there you have to take a subway going to 34th Street and exit on 7th Avenue and 34th Street or exit on Broadway for Macy's main entrance.
we were there to see the annual flower show since its spring season, time to plant flowers. In this events they have discounts in their items if you want to avail it. i was busy taking this picture of flamingo that is made of the fresh flowers located in the isle at the first floor, nice to look at? the flowers displayed in here are tulips, azaleas and chrysanthemums. Anyone who pass this area stops and pose to take photos as the flower arrangement is really breath-taking.

my friend took a picture of me in one of the isle

i made fun at this maniquin with signature bags with signature bags around it. "Don't care with the bags basta pose lang me" while my friends are busy buying coach and clinique beauty products. i like how they display the different fruits inside this long bottle with flowers on top.

this one was the window display at the entrance.

Macy's hosts its annual flower show, turning over part of its store to incredible floral displays. Using over a million flowers from all over the world, horticulturists create wonderful floral displays that attract thousands of camera-toting visitors from not only across New York, but from all over the world.

New landmark of Dubai

This bridge is like in the shape of an arch. It could be viewed like an acoustic wave forming a tone compatible with an opera. It could also be viewed like a new moon in Dubai night.
The total cost of the project is around Dh3 billion, including Dh2.5 billion for the new bridge.
It will be a new landmark in Dubai,” Al Tayer told a press conference yesterday. The bridge is 1.6-km long, 64 metres wide and 15 metres above the water level. It will have 12 lanes and track for the Green Line of Dubai Metro. It will have a capacity of around 20,000 vehicles per hour. The bridge will have a metro station, abra station, and a new island that will be built on the Creek, with a theatre for staging various events. The giant arch at the bridge will be 205 metres high and 667 metres long becoming the longest arch-bridge ever built in the world.
The said project will be divided into six phases to expedite the construction work. The first stage includes construction works of the Sixth Crossing at Dubai Creek. The second phase includes construction of intersections at Deira side to serve The Lagoon and Dubai Festival City. The Third Phase includes implementation of intersections at Deira side extending from Nad Al Hamar up to Al Aweer Road.
Phase Four includes building of intersections in Bur Dubai linking the Sixth Crossing with Ras Al Khor (Business Bay Crossing).Phase Five includes construction of intersections in Bur Dubai linking the Sixth Crossing with Shaikh Rashid Road and the Al Garhoud Bridge. The Sixth Phase includes construction of intersections in Bur Dubai linking Ras Al Khor with Oud Metha Road and the Parallel Roads.

Visit to Virginia

This January we have a chance to visit my Uncle in Virginia. While in there he toured us to the place called Jamestown. Jamestown is an island located in the Historic Triangle of Virginia, seven miles from Colonial Williamsburg down the Colonial Parkway. This place is rich in terms of history and culture. According to the history there are One Hundred seven (107) Englishmen arrived in three small ships and these people settled in that area. Now Jamestown Settlement is preserved and considered one of the tourist spots of Virginia. I was impressed how this place is preserved and maintained not only for the people living in this area, but for the future generations and also for the tourists who wants to know, learn and discover some of the beautiful historic spots of this beautiful part of Virginia. We took some pictures in and out of the Settlement but sad to say that have not seen the video that was inside the place and my only consolition was when we visit their shops and i bought keychains and displays.
Located in front of the Jamestown Welcome Center is the Lawn of Flags
