I wanted to surprise you but you know me when it comes to hiding surprises from you,
I can't.
I am so excited that I couldn't wait any longer to let you know that I bought your engagement ring. I can't wait until I can slip it onto your finger. I LOVE YOU SO MUCH, Lovely.

His visit

I do's

Today is our First year anniversary, I could say I love my hubby and I would not trade our relationship with any material things. I am contented with him and what we have now. My only wish is that the Lord will bless us with more strenght, good health and time so we could still continue the love that we share for as long as we live....

Ring Day

Got busy these days, hectic schedule. And one is this one-- I attended the ring day of my friend's daughter. The mother requested me to accompany her as her hubby who is supposed to witness his daughter's Ring day has cold. So, had to go with my friend. Speaking of ring day here in the US they really pay attention to it,as one of the school's activity. Putting the ring on the student's finger means that the student is already Junior in his/her high school and would be graduating the next year. High school ring is equivalent to a college ring.

this was inside the building of Maria Regina High School (exclusive girls school)
the school logo with the picture of the founder of the school

the students stand waiting for the Priest's entrance--he will officiate the mass first before the awarding of the ring to each student.

after the mass the principal assisted by the teachers start calling the students to go to the stage and receive their ring from the principal and put it on her finger.

after the ceremony the daughter(right) and her classmate pose for shots showing the ring that is in their fingers.

my friends daughter(center) with the twins who are Filipinos

the picture that she submit to be post on the wall showing the year that she is about to graduate

these are pictures that you could see on the wall, junior students of Maria Regina High School and candidates for graduation class of 2010

the proud Mom( my friend)

my time to pose, been taking a lot of pictures already he he he

Paquiao the Knock-out Filipino

I am really eager to post this blog right after the fight but i am too dissy to go online. We ordered a last minute pay per view just to watch Pacman's fight. I closed my eyes and closed my ears with the pay per view price which is almost $50.00. I know that it is kinda expensive but we Filipino's don't mind the price as long as its worth it, made us happy and we are satisfied. I was shouting punch, punch with Pacman as if he is listening to me he he he. And my hubby is just staring at me knowing I am happy telling me not to shout that much. He is afraid neighbors might knock at our door and know what's happening. But can't help it though....

I'm literally in awe. I know so with people who watch my hero's fight.
Some said they don't know what to say. This was competely amazing. Manny Pacquiao is unreal -- and he's an all-time great. Not only that he is a Filipino like me but I really believe and admire his love for his craft.Hatton gets positively stuck with one of the most brilliant punches I've ever seen by the incomparable Pacquiao.
Hatton had nothing for Pacquiao. Nothing. He is a hell of a fighter and Manny Pacquiao made him look like a guy who didn't belong in there.
I don't know what else to say. Pacquiao just made his spot among the best ever.
Hatton stills comes out aggressive standing up too straight. Manny landing with the right hook. Pac Man backing him up again and is extremely accurate, punching Hatton a bit wildly. A left hand flattened Hatton. The fight is over. He's flat in the center of the ring.Hatton looks in very bad shape on the canvas. He was attended to by officials. It was a perfect, wicked left hand from Pacquiao.
The fight comes to end at the second round.
MABUHAY KA PACMAN SALUDO KAMI SA HUSAY MO! MABUHAY KA PINOY!

Wedding Bells- Ryan and Judy Ann

how they start****

and their love story***

that ends up****

This newlywed couple are celebrities in the Philippines that I admire, not only for their talents as an actor and actress on screen but for their love to their family. Ryan is know for his low profile and Judy Ann for being a good daughter and sister to her mother and siblings.
Judy Ann Santos and Ryan Agoncillo's wedding video was shown last night in ABS-CBN news. Fans were not really able to get a hold of the wedding as they didn’t even know where it will be because the couple keep it secret.
Juday have always wanted this kind of a dream wedding where only the closest people they know will be attending and would look more like a casual wedding just like anybody else’s. Even the church people except the priest who will wed the couple knew who will be there in the altar at San Juan Batangas church where Ryan’s parents were also wed.

I am a fan of this couple I always watch every teleseries that they have just finish watching Pinoy Fear Factor where Ryan was the host and Pieta where he is in the lead role. Since I am now in the US I watch all the news and tv teleseries at TFC.

TO THE NEW COUPLE CONGRATULATIONS AND BEST WISHES--

Manny Pacquiao's fight against Ricky Hatton

Another event for that we could watch is the biggest boxing match in years as Filipino Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao takes on Britain's Ricky Hatton on May 2, 2009 Saturday at the MGM Grand Hotel Garden in Las Vegas. The match will be one of the last few fights before the grand finale of Hall of Famer Manny Pacquiao's stellar fight career. The 30-year-old athlete will be facing yet another bigger opponent Manchester's pride, 30-year-old Ricky Hatton
Manny Pacquiao is now 100% focused and ready for the battle of east and west against Ricky Hatton. Not only is he ready, but Pacquiao appears to be excited going into ring Saturday fight against the taller Hatton. In the Philippines, almost every activity stops during live broadcasts of Manny Pacquiao's fight.Pacquiao vs Hatton is a surefire blockbuster, with earnings status befitting a mega-fight. Million dollars will go to the coffers of both fighters, and a sizable portion of these will go to Pacquiao purse.Although The Battle of East and West is a non-title bout for the jr. welterweight division, the Pacquiao vs Hatton Winner Results Update, is expected to pit Pacquiao's pure fire aggression with Hatton's body punches. Manny Pacquiao's combinations, will utilize his speed to weaken Hatton's body.
The streets of the Philippines could resemble a ghost town for a few hours on Sunday morning, Satuday evening here in the US May 2. as everyone from taxi drivers to petty thieves makes time to watch Manny Pacquiao's fight against Ricky Hatton.
Pacquiao, known as the "nation's fist," is idolised in the Southeast Asian nation and his every appearance in the ring has a majority of the 90 million people glued to their television and radio sets, causing a surge in demand for electricity. "I'm sure all Filipinos will also stay home so it will just be a waste of time driving around. If Manny wins, then I'll have a busy afternoon, and expects people to be partying in the streets should their man triumph.
Restaurants with cable television will open early as will shopping malls with cinemas, where people can watch the fight live via satellite.
According to news The SM group, the country's largest cinema operator, said the tickets, priced at 551 pesos each, were selling fast.
Pacquiao, nicknamed "Pac-man," is clearly popular with the nation's criminals as well.
Historical and statistical data to show that there's always zero crime during Pacquiao's actual match," said Nicanor Bartolome, national police spokesman.
In the southern Mindanao island, government soldiers will set up a giant screen in a former camp of the militant rebel group Abu Sayyaf to watch the match, according to a local radio report. Pacquiao, widely regarded as the best pound-for-pound fighter in the world, has also distracted politicians.
Congress adjourned its session early this week so about 50 lawmakers, including the speaker of the House of Representatives, could fly to Las Vegas for the fight.
I am praying for Manny's victory because that will bring honour and pride to all Filipinos anywhere in the world, "He's my hero because he always makes us proud." GO PAQUIAO, GO, GO! WE’RE PROUD FOR YOU AND WE’RE PROUD TO BE PINOY!!!!

Cory Aquino to undergo an operation

Honestly, I am not really an avid admirer of the recent Philippine Presidents. Forgive me but that is how I feel after numerous bad experiences with our political system. Although, I do appreciate certain individuals who are trying to make a change & trying to exert certain effort inspite of Philippines political situation. Sometimes it is extremely distressing listening and watching news with regards to our leaders. I do admire Aquino for her adherence to end the horrible Filipinos suffering under Marcos regime. According to news, the former President of the Philippines Corazon Aquino will go under the knife as part of her treatment for colon cancer that she has been battling for over a year now.
This was according to Aquino's son, Senator Benigno "Noynoy" Aquino III, who asked people for prayers for the successful operation of the former president.
Mrs. Aquino, an icon of Philippine democracy, is the wife of the late Senator Benigno Aquino Jr. She was installed in power after the 1986 People Power revolt.
In March 2008, Aquino's children Noynoy and TV personality Kris disclosed that their mother was diagnosed to have cancer. Kris said it was her mother's decision for the family to release a statement regarding her health condition.
Despite her illness, she remained active in dealing with national concerns.

Madam: The Filpinos supports and love you. We pray for a successful operation and you speed recovery.
