Visit to Virginia

This January we have a chance to visit my Uncle in Virginia. While in there he toured us to the place called Jamestown. Jamestown is an island located in the Historic Triangle of Virginia, seven miles from Colonial Williamsburg down the Colonial Parkway. This place is rich in terms of history and culture. According to the history there are One Hundred seven (107) Englishmen arrived in three small ships and these people settled in that area. Now Jamestown Settlement is preserved and considered one of the tourist spots of Virginia. I was impressed how this place is preserved and maintained not only for the people living in this area, but for the future generations and also for the tourists who wants to know, learn and discover some of the beautiful historic spots of this beautiful part of Virginia. We took some pictures in and out of the Settlement but sad to say that have not seen the video that was inside the place and my only consolition was when we visit their shops and i bought keychains and displays.
Located in front of the Jamestown Welcome Center is the Lawn of Flags
